Volunteer

Do you have some spare time and enjoy helping the people of St Neots? If so maybe you’d like to be a volunteer.

We have a variety of voluntary roles that might suit you. If you have a car or a computer, can you use WhatsApp or are you a friendly person that is confidently making phone calls? If one or more of these is you then why not get started?

Our roles

Coordinators

Our coordinators receive calls from the St Neots public requesting help. They allocate tasks to volunteers and control and update log entries for audit and safeguarding.

Couriers

Our couriers receive tasks from our coordinators and are out there delivering shopping, prescriptions, and posting letters – the workforce with time to help their neighbours across St Neots.

Friendly callers

Our volunteers are mild-mannered, patient and have calm demeanours and enjoy listening to others. A vital and growing service provided by St Neots Community Support. Our regular friendly calls help isolated, elderly or individuals who need a chat.

Community Support have helped our family in more ways than I can imagine. The peace of mind in knowing that when we cannot visit in the week to see our elderly mum there was someone to help.
